Newton Montessori School is an independent
Montessori school offering infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and
elementary-level programs for students from three months through grade six. Located in
Newton Centre, Massachusetts, Newton Montessori is a wonderfully diverse and multi-cultural
community. Our goal is to inspire our students to develop a true love of
learning and to become self-confident and self-disciplined
individuals.
At Newton Montessori, children are allowed to move at their own pace in a positive and supportive atmosphere. This freedom of choice within a controlled environment provides the opportunity for tremendous academic achievement. Work takes place individually and in groups, and is hands-on, self-directed, and self-correcting. Children follow their interests while teachers act as mentors and guides, assisting and challenging each child to do his or her best.
